Significant reduces in BMI and waist circumference with time were observed in both groups, but relative effectiveness of L+Sleep versus L-alone yielded few group distinctions. Exploratory analysis indicated that women which enhanced their sleep to ≥7 h/night, regardless of group assignment, lost more excess body fat than women who proceeded to report sleeping <7 h/night. Including rest expansion to a life style modification input proved possible and satisfactory to individuals, but initial efficacy would not differentiate the two input groups.
